About the course

Starting in Peacehaven, the route winds through stunning bridleways, the iconic South Downs Way, and the historic Greenwich Meridian Trail, finishing with a loop through the charming village of Telscombe. For safety of other runners, path users and live stock through the farm, dogs are not permitted for this event. Coming up to mile 4, you will approach and short out and back section along the public bridleway which coincides with a small local event. Please be carful along here with the potential of guests attending the event and cars. We will have signage and a marshall along here.

After you start you will come to a sharp left turn, please take caution here as the road is uneven.

Other route users
Please be aware that the bridleway is not closed for the event but the marshals do there best to keep it clear for runners. You are sharing the paths with other walkers, runners and cyclists, live stock, working farm and many of whom live locally. We ask that you race with care and remain courteous at all times.

At mile 4 you will run a short out and back section before heading through the farm, this will be on a public bridleway with cars and pedestrians visiting the maize attraction - please take caution here and keep an eye out for our marshals guiding you. The road will be well sign posted for those around you not participating in the race.

Recommended Kit & Footwear
We'd recommend trail running shoes for this event however, it should be dry in July so any running shoe will be fine. Please keep an eye on the forecast and dress appropriately for the conditions, bringing a spare set of clothes (and socks!) if needed.

Litter
Please do NOT drop litter. Bins will be provided, so please dispose of any litter correctly or take it home with you.

Water Stations
As well as a water station at the end of the race, there will be an additional water station located at mile 3.

Whilst we will ensure that our water stations are well supplied, runners should ensure that they are fully hydrated and also consider carrying their own water. We will refill any water bottles at the water station for you.

Your route & marshals...
Your course will be clearly marked using large route arrows, hazard tape and directional cones, as well as being marshalled throughout. Please listen and obey all marshal instructions given. There will be a sweep marshal which will follow the last runner to make sure that no one is left on the route. All marshals will remain in place until stood down by the sweep marshal. There is a time limit of 3hrs for this event.

Spectators
We always welcome anyone that would like to cheer on our runners and join the good spirit of the race by lending their encouragement and support.
